FAQ

Is it safe to do private lessons during the COVID-19 pandemic?

At this point in time, we are educated more about the risks related to COVID-19, and best safety practices around it. During your lesson, I am flexible to creating the safest space possible for you. This may include, but is not limited to, masking up when necessary, sitting at a safe distance, and ensuring safety protocols such as sanitizing are followed. Please do not hesitate to request these services if you desire!

May I sit in on my child's private music lesson?

It is strongly advised that the lesson be a private time for the teacher and student to focus on the work at hand. Some students find it distracting with a parent in the room. The teacher will give you some advice on this after they get to know your child. If you do not feel comfortable with your child participating in a lesson in my studio, I have options to come to your home or the child's school as well.

Do I need to have musical experience before I start lessons?

Absolutely not! Complete beginners are very welcome. All we require is that you enjoy music and you’re open to learning more about it!
